This position is the perfect stepping-stone for an outgoing individual with knowledge of General Aviation, a propensity for technology, and who is seeking to advance their sales skills. This position will primarily cold call prospective customers to introduce and sell Avidyne products and services. In addition to selling skills, the candidate must be organized, personable, engaging, and self-motivated. Sales Leads Developer will be available to answer advanced technical questions and provide assistance in closing provisional sales calls.

Develop provisional “warm” leads by initiating contact with passive aircraft owners, utilizing analysis and prospect lists, and providing approaches and other lead generating ideas.

Involves database cross utilization, identifying viable leads, reaching out to passive customers to affirm the viability of the leads by verifying ownership, aircraft model/year current navigation product age, and potential product interest. You work in a team environment.


  • Develop provisional "warm” leads by initiating contact with passive aircraft owners.
  • Customer Support: Answering incoming product and customer product and service inquiries
  • Sales Leads: Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities. Identifies hot leads and closes as required or forwards to appropriate Technical Sales Engineer.
  • Relationships: Liaison between the customer and Product, Services, and Warranty departments to capitalize on relationship building and coordinate best solution for the customer
  • Reporting: Must provide accurate and timely sales information to managers. Assist in development and utilization of the CRM.

Skills and Core Competencies:

Responsible for handling incoming support calls from our valued Customers and Dealers. Incoming calls will be addressed, routed and tracked for best practice customer service. These inquiries may be on our products, pricing, as well as answering questions regarding our Services, and Warranties.

Required education/experience:

  • Some college (BA/BS preferred)
  • General knowledge of Aviation required
  • Pilot Rating preferred


  • 1 – 2 years of experience in direct end customer sales (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Application skills (Level; Proficient to Advanced)
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent spoken, written communication, and presentation skills
