Position Summary:

This role supports all aspects of product realization from product design controls to material acquisition to product build/test to delivery to returns. Activities include CAPA execution, complaint investigation, inspection and test method development, implementation of manufacturing process controls including process validation, supplier quality, and risk management. This role will also support the Quality Management System planning, executing, and finalizing special projects to continuously improve product and process quality.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Responsible of the Product Quality in all stages of the processes.
  • Carry out quality, process and product audits.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of products, processes and systems.
  • Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Generate procedures, process alerts, deviations, purges, and other process documentation.
  • Responsible of training management and development of quality awareness
  • Perform Internal Quality Audits.
  • Responsible of keep updated the AVL and manage, analyze and publish performance metrics for key suppliers.
  • Participate in establishing AS9100 internal controls.
  • Responsible of keep calibrated the measurement devices of the company and maintain updated the calibration database.
  • Lead the MRB review and disposition process.
  • Responsible of Calibration Management.
  • Review and update Risk Management
  • Promote Improvements to Systems, Processes and Products

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to quality inspectors.
  • Must have ability to effectively plan and prioritize multiple processes to achieve high quality performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical / procedural / process direction to inspectors and technicians
  • Communicate efficiently throughout the production floor and provide guidance to other team members.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Must wear USD heel, wrist straps, smocks and safety glasses in designated areas.


  • BS Degree in electronic, electrical, mechanical, industrial, computer science or quality engineering or equivalent experience.


  • 2+ years in quality, process, and/or supplier engineering
  • 2+ years experience working within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.

  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Quality Auditor
  • Key Performance Indicators
  • PC Skills in database and data analysis systems
  • FAA requirements (14-CFR-21; 14-CFR-145); EASA; 8130 forms
  • ISO 14001 desirable
  • Six Sigma is a plus
  • Good written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
