The Avidyne Hardware Engineering Team is a small, multidisciplinary, tight-knit group of Engineers who work together collaboratively to provide solutions to a wide range of product development, production, and sustaining engineering projects. As part of this team the EE (PCBA/CCA) is responsible for lifecycle support of existing, certified Avionics systems, primarily at the circuit card assembly (CCA) level. Goals of the position include cost reduction, obsolescence management, process improvement, design optimization, support of the SMT line and Avidyne’s Just In Time (JIT) manufacturing model. Typical tasks include component engineering, troubleshooting, limited system re-design, PCB/CCA board spins, PCB panel optimization, electrical simulation, design analysis, validation, and report generation for all lifecycle changes. The ideal candidate will have a wide breadth of knowledge and be comfortable applying their skills across a wide range of applications. For the right candidate Avidyne may be willing to offer training to supplement the candidate’s skill set.
