Primary Responsibility:

Join our fast-paced high growth Avionics business, applying your skills as an Avionics Technical Support Representative 1 to provide timely resolution of customer issues. This is a highly visible role that requires an attention to detail and frequent communication both internally and externally outside the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct contact with customers for questions on products or services
  • Interact with worldwide customers through email, telephone, and live chat
  • Create and maintain accurate troubleshooting and service records
  • Initiate and maintain data collection and database validation
  • Work with field service technicians and senior avionics tech reps to diagnose and completely resolve issues
  • Routine repair Status Management (Scheduling, Web Site) and MyAvidyne.com customer database management
  • Service Information and Service Bulletin distribution and follow-up
  • Installation/ Operation data updates
  • Interact with Product Management and Engineering on escalations
  • Willingness to go above and beyond on all support issues while providing industry leading customer service

Requirements:

  • AS degree from an avionics or electronics program OR currently enrolled in an avionics or electronics technical program OR years' experience in avionic technical customer support
  • FCC/NCATT license preferred
  • Experience or training in Aerospace repair operations required
  • Familiar with avionics field test equipment preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer user expertise (www, MS Office applications)
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Effective contributor in a team-oriented environment
  • Understand digital, and analog system integration
  • Understand FAA documents pertaining to certification and compliance
  • Familiar with FAR's 135, 43, 91, 25 operations
  • Pilot or A&P license is a plus
  • Multi-lingual highly desirable
