Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Coordinator (RSC) will be responsible for the day to day facilitation of order placement and processing, lead generation through Avidyne’s Customer Resource Management platform and interface with customers in support of the RTSM and RAM for that region. The RSC will work directly with Finance, Shipping/Receiving and the RTSM to ensure accurate, timely completion of Sales Orders in Oracle and mitigate any obstacles to shipping the product as ordered and on time. This position requires interaction with all functions of the organization and requires strong organizational and communications skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer calls and emails in a professional and efficient matter.
  • Update CRM with each customer engagement.
  • Review incoming leads from CRM to cultivate customer interest and build into an actionable sales lead.
  • Turn over actionable sales leads to RTSM.
  • Responsible for entering Sales Orders into Oracle with emphasis on completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor and resolve shipping issues for Sales Orders in a time-critical manner.
  • Monitor and resolve credit or finance issues impacting timely shipment of product.
  • Be aware of and advise RTSM and RAM of potential product shortages.
  • Assist sales team with support in processing RFC transactions.
  • Follow up with end customers and dealers to assure any issues were resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Assure that all Oracle transactions are accurate.
  • Routine outbound calling to end customers and dealers
  • Register all IFD sales in myavidyne.com
  • Represent Avidyne at trade shows and other company functions
  • Be able to demonstrate all Avidyne equipment to end users and dealers when required
  • Be the primary point of contact for customer issues regarding the IFD simulator and associated one-on-one training as necessary.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Current private pilot certificate preferred
  • Aviation business related degree/education or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years customer service experience
  • Experience dealing with external customers on a routine basis
  • Experience working across multiple departments to achieve results
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required
  • Experience with customer service software. Oracle experience a plus.
  • Formal customer service or project management training and experience preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively deal with upset customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
