Tips & Techniques XM Datalink Weather Refresh Due to security software built into the Heads-Up datalink receiver, the XM datalink subscription may revert to Activate mode after a period of time between 3 months to 9 months. When this occurs XM datalink weather will not be received by the Heads-Up receiver or displayed on the EX500. If this occurs, you will need to refresh your subscription in order to continue to receive XM datalink weather.
