FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan

FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan for aircraft equipped with Entegra, EX5000, EX500 and EMax products:

Avidyne’s FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan is designed to offer owners of certain Avidyne products a high level of support over the life of their aircraft. The FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan coverage period begins when your original new product warranty expires and offers the same great benefits and services provided in Avidyne’s original new product warranty. Owners have the choice of purchasing one, two or three year FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plans.

Bezel and Glass Restoration Discount
  • $1,100 Replacement of both the bezel and glass hardware for Avidyne product

¹ Priority Exchange is subject to inventory availability. Shipping time is dependent on the time of day that Avidyne Technical Support receives the replacement call.
² Reasonable removal, installation and calibration charges are defined in the then current Avidyne Service Pricing Matrix of the Avidyne Distributor Agreement.

FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan Terms and Conditions:

  • Terms and conditions of the original new product warranty continue to apply through the FLEX Extended Warranty period.
  • Terms and conditions of the then current Avidyne Service Pricing Matrix of the Avidyne Distributor Agreement apply to all warranty and non-warranty claims.
  • Priority Exchange Service is provided only after Avidyne Technical Support has been contacted and reasonable troubleshooting has occurred.
  • Priority Exchange Service requests must be approved prior to 1pm EST to meet the same day shipment window.
  • Priority Exchange Service is available only through authorized Avidyne Distributors who are in “good standing” with Avidyne.
  • Additional charges may apply for products that have been subject to excessive wear and tear.
  • Avidyne will use reasonable efforts to repair and ship products back to the authorized Avidyne Distributor within 10 business days from receipt of product.
  • Avidyne will pay for reasonable removal, re-installation and calibration charges when service is performed by an Avidyne authorized service center.
  • In the event that we are unable to find anything wrong with your product and determine it to be fully operative, an inspection and recertification fee of $300 will apply.
  • Owners will be notified prior to the FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan expiration. The FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan will be automatically renewed unless canceled by the Owner.
  • If the FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan is purchased more than 90 days after the original new product warranty expiration, the product covered by the warranty must be in working condition. Avidyne reserves the right to inspect products that are out of warranty before covering them under the FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan. If the FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan is purchased more than 90 days after the original new product warranty expiration, the Owner will be charged for each month that the FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan was not active, up to a period of 24 months.
  • The FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan is transferable upon notification to Avidyne Technical Support within thirty (30) days of transfer.
  • The FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan does not provide coverage for hardware upgrades or for the addition of new product features through software upgrades.
  • If the Avidyne products covered under the FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan are sold outside or apart from of the sale of the aircraft in which they were installed at the time of registration, all warranties and FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan are null and void and no reimbursement will be made for the remaining period of the plan.
  • Avidyne only provides warranty or FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan coverage for Avidyne products sold, installed, serviced, or removed by an authorized Avidyne Distributor.
  • The FLEX Extended Warranty Service Plan does not include hardware upgrades or the addition of new features through software upgrades.
