In his new post, Ring will be responsible for all of Avidyne’s aftermarket sales revenues from the eastern half of the United States and Canada. Previously, he served for nearly two years as Avidyne’s Inside Sales Representative in the Eastern Region. “I am pleased to promote Pete Ring to this critical role, for both Avidyne and its thousands of existing customers throughout the Eastern Region of North America.” said Rob Higby, Avidyne’s Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. “Pete is a core example of the type of personnel that today defines Avidyne’s customer-focused culture. As a long term Avidyne employee, experienced pilot, and proven leader for Avidyne in a service and sales capacity, Pete is well poised to lead Avidyne in the Eastern Region.” Peter Ring attended Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire studying Flight Operations and Aviation Business Management. He began his aviation career while still an undergraduate, fueling aircraft for the FBO in Worcester, MA. He held similar posts with Signature Flight Support and Executive Flyers Aviation at Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA. Before joining Avidyne in early 2008, he gained 3 years of valuable retail experience as an Acura automotive sales representative in Framingham, MA. Ring is an instrument-rated private pilot with a tail-wheel aircraft endorsement.
