Chris Evans served 4 years with the US Navy on P-3 Orion aircraft at Moffett Field, CA that included two deployments to Diego Garcia. From there she worked for United Airlines for 14 years. Aircraft types: Boeing 737, 747, 757,767, 777, Airbus A-319, and DC-10ís. Work scope was C-check to heavy overhaul. Chris has an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. Skills were Fuel tanks, Advance Composites, Rigging, Heavy sheet metal, and Taxi-run on the Boeing 777.
After United Airlines down-sized, she joined the LiveTV Install Team (a subsidiary of JetBlue) for 10 years. There she installed all aspects of the imbedded In-Flight-Entertainment systems including the new Ka Wi-Fi which provides broadband Wi-Fi in the air. While there she gained her Associates degree in IT and Bachelor degree in Project Management. After JetBlue sold LiveTV to Thales, Chris joined the Avidyne Tech Support Team.
