Summary

Join our fast-paced high growth Avionics business, applying your skills as a technical support professional to timely resolution of customer issues. This is a highly visible role that requires an attention to detail and frequent communication both internally and externally outside the company.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for customers with questions on products or services
  • Interact with worldwide customers through email, telephone, and live chat
  • Create and maintain accurate troubleshooting and service records
  • Initiate and maintain data collection and database validation
  • Work with field service technicians to diagnose and completely resolve issues
  • Routine repair Status Management (Scheduling, Web Site) and MyAvidyne.com customer database management
  • Service Information and Service Bulletin distribution and follow-up
  • Installation/Operation data updates
  • Interact with Product Management and Engineering on escalations
  • Willingness to go above and beyond on all support issues while providing industry leading customer service

Requirements:

  • AS degree in technical area: BSEE preferred + 4 years experience in aerospace technical customer support
  • certificated A&P and or FCC license preferred
  • Experience in Aerospace repair operations required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer user expertise (www, MS Office applications, Oracle)
  • Effective contributor in a team oriented environment
  • Understand digital, and analog system integration
  • Understand FAA documents pertaining to certification and compliance
  • Familiar with FARís 135, 43, 91, 25 operations
  • Pilots license preferred
  • Familiar with avionics field test equipment
  • Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese highly desirable
