Take advantage of this unique opportunity to work for a world-class leader at the heart of innovation in general aviation. Avidyne is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to act as the general manager for Avidyne’s NorthWest North American and Western Canada Regions.

This position requires excellent organization and time management skills as well as, demonstrated interpersonal skills. You must be capable of meeting deadlines and be a team player who has the ability to work well and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. You must possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as be detail oriented and able to solve problems and issues using established processes. To be successful, you will have the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently on several different tasks simultaneously, setting priorities while ensuring completion of tasks under minimal supervision. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall end-to-end responsibility for Avidyne’s success in the NorthWest Region NA and Western Canada
  • Primary face of Avidyne with end customers and Dealers
  • Manage territory and exceed established revenue goals
  • Host customer and potential customer seminars
  • Educate dealer network on products
  • Assist with technical support high level troubleshooting
  • Pass qualified leads to dealer network
  • Attend open houses and trade shows
  • Employ tactics to drive demand in the region
  • Assist Director of Sales with funneling market intelligence and information to Avidyne’s sales management.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in an engineering or electronics discipline
  • 4 - 5 years experience in aviation or avionics industry
  • 2 – 3 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Instrument rated pilot and General Aviation enthusiast
  • Microsoft Office Application skills
  • Proven ability of successfully managing multiple projects
  • Proven technical savvy abilities and curiosities
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills

Travel requirements include:

  • Attending major industry tradeshows
  • Attending Seminars and Open Houses
  • Dealer visits
  • Approximately 75%
